He has handled matters before the Unites States Tax Court on issues such as IRS challenges regarding the disallowance of deductions premised upon the application of IRC Sec. 183 Hobby Loss rules applicable to the racing industry.
Attorney Michael J. Hannah also practices as a Certified Public Accountant. For nearly twenty years, he was a Certified Valuation Analyst in which he operated as a separate business from his law and accounting practices. Throughout his career, Mr. Hannah practiced law at several area law firms and CPA firms, and for over 30 years was a principal of the accounting firm of Woodka, Hannah and Associates in Latham.
